Buy this first. It's cheap, and it's the one thing clubs usually don't lend.
- Weapon hand only, you only glove the hand that holds the weapon.
- The gauntlet should cover the jacket cuff so no skin or sleeve shows.
- Washable gloves are worth it, they get sweaty fast.
- Sabre fencers may want a conductive (manchette) glove for electric scoring later.
